Hollywood and Athletes and Politicans - oh my!

I have a real problem with the Hollywood elite (actors, actresses, producers, directors, etc), Athletes (all genre) and Politicans making enough (more than enough) money when, well, to be honest, they don't really do anything to deserve it.

I mean, it's not as if they are finding the cure for cancer or risking their lives fighting a fire or trying to stop a drunken, gun-wielding maniac from murdering his family. They aren't standing on the front lines in a war not of their making. They aren't out working in a field to provide food for a nation like farmers or holding the hand of a dying child like doctors or nurses.

I could go on and on with what they are not.....but what they are can't come close to the real people who deserve (but don't ask for) more.

Let's take Hollywood (gag, yuk, vomit). These are people pretending to be someone they are not. As a child, I pretended to be a princess but guess what, I grew up and got a real job. Sure it's entertainment, but grossing $150 million dollars for a movie???? C'mon! Demanding $20 mil for doing a movie which may or may not make it? Can't see it! If (and it's a BIG IF) they used some common sense (something truly lacking in Hollywood) they would lower their expectations of getting the loot and make it easier on us regular folk so we can afford to go see these movies.

And speaking of making it easier on us regular folk, who in the hell do these athletes think they are anyway?? To get paid what they get paid is a sin and because they get paid what they get paid, prices to go see a sports event is through the roof. It's crazy, I tell ya!! A good time at the ballgame becomes a year long planning event just to save up the cash, moola, dough, payola to go see it. I know it that some of these costs come from the venue (arena, ballpark, tennis court, golf course). But I would guess that they have to pay for these high-price folks and I think that is just wrong.

Politicans don't get a pass either. TALK ABOUT WORTHLESS! The whole lot of them should be run out of office and new people brought in. I was told "Well, they have to be in office a long time just to get something done.

They, apparently, haven't looked at Washington (or any state capital) lately. Folks, NOTHING IS GETTING DONE BY ANYONE IN OFFICE. Then, they stay for a little while, "retire" on full benefits, DON'T HAVE TO TAKE OBAMACARE (I'll get into that later). They skate while the rest of us struggle day to day.

Overpriced, overrated, disgusting waste of human breath.

But, hey, I'm just a regular folk!

Just Another Conservative

I'm starting what I'm sure gazillions of others are doing.....a blog.

This blog isn't about crafting (which I love to do) or quilting (another love of mine) or any other fine things.

No, this blog is going to be dedicated to all those Conservatives out there who feel they don't have a voice in this once great country of ours. I want our country back. I want our Christian values back. I want some common sense back in the main stream.

I am so tired of the mainstream media telling me what to think, how to vote (and believe me, they do), what to feed my children or that I can't fly OUR country's flag or that I can't own a handgun.

I am sick to tears of Hollywood spending tons of $$$$$$$'s on a man and a party who clearly hate our country. (You can apologize for our country, Mr. President.....but YOU are the one looking like a jackass doing it!)

The Democrats and this President are making a mockery of everything good and right in this country. It's got to stop.

So, here I am.....finally speaking out. I welcome any and all points of view. If I don't like what you say, I'll be very blunt about it!
